Private beta · reviewing contracts for design partners

Contract review in minutes, not weeks.

ContractMe reads your commercial contracts, flags the clauses that carry risk, explains them in plain English, and hands back a redline you can send to the other side. Built for founders and operators who don't have in-house counsel on call.

PDF and DOCX. No install. Your documents are never used to train models.

Three steps, one review

Upload the counterparty's paper. ContractMe returns a structured review, not a wall of text.

STEP 01

Upload

Drop in the PDF or DOCX, or forward an email thread. ContractMe extracts the clauses, defined terms, and cross-references before review starts.

STEP 02

Review

Every clause is scored against your playbook and market norms, with a plain-English explanation of what changes in practice if you sign it as written.

STEP 03

Negotiate

Export tracked-changes DOCX, or take the generated counter-proposal email with your fallback positions already drafted.

Review that follows your playbook

Most tools summarise a contract. ContractMe compares it to the positions your team already agreed on, so the output reflects how you actually negotiate.

  • Clause-level risk scoring with the downstream consequence spelled out
  • Playbook rules: preferred position, fallback, and walk-away
  • Redline export in tracked changes, ready for the counterparty
  • Ask-anything mode over one contract or a whole data room
  • Bulk review for vendor onboarding batches
  • Audit trail of every review, decision, and reviewer

For startups

Review the customer paper before you accept it. Know which clauses you can live with and which ones need a counter before the deal stalls.

For legal teams

Clear first-pass review of routine commercial work so your counsel spends time on the deals that actually need judgment.

For procurement

Push vendor agreements through a consistent standard and keep a record of what was accepted and why.

Your documents stay yours

Customer documents are never used to train models, and are not shared across workspaces.

Encryption end to end

TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest, per-workspace isolation, and auditable access logs.

Retention you control

Configurable retention windows and one-click deletion of any document or workspace.

Questions

Does ContractMe give legal advice?

No. ContractMe is a document analysis tool, not a law firm. It does not create an attorney-client relationship and it does not replace review by qualified counsel. It is built to make that review faster and better informed.

What file types are supported?

PDF and DOCX for review, with tracked-changes DOCX and plain-text output on export. Scanned documents are handled through OCR.

Which models does it run on?

ContractMe runs on frontier models from Anthropic, selected per task, with retrieval and rule checks layered on top so clause findings are traceable to the source text.
